Well, the solution to this is the following: either you return the printer and exchange it with one which has support for 10.8 or downgrade your operating system. You can do this at an Apple Shop because they have all the tools and CDs needed for the task.
Except that, there is nothing to be done because on the HP support page there are no drivers related to Mac OS X 10.8 version.
