CD burner doesn't burn.

I am trying to burn a CD using Power 2 Go on my new Dell laptop, with a remote Dell CD/DVD player. When I get to the stage where I press "Burn Disc," the program writes a file in Notebook but doesn't actually burn a CD.

I don't think that remote burning is even possible, no matter if you managed to run the software from a PC to the target one with a CD/DVD writer installed. A burning application requires direct access to the CD/DVD-ROM. I've also searched the Internet for this possibility, but couldn't find anything possibly because this process is actually impossible to achieve.

Try installing a burning application on the target PC and avoid messing with remote computing and apps that require access to physical products installed on PCs.
