My RAID drive needs hacking.

My Drobo RAID drive was accidentally reformatted by USB duplicating software and now shows as an 8 gig USB. But there are 17TB still locked away. Data recovery programs are having trouble because of the way a RAID drive works. Anyone know how I can get back my 17TB of .mov files intact? And don't just direct me to a data recovery program - I need RAID-specific info, please!

A recovery product needs to be used because there is no method to access the RAID content. I've Googled the available websites and everywhere I found information, a recovery product was mentioned as well.

I am saying this because data access can't be done manually without a tool. You still need to use one of those apps that have exclusive access to a partition.
