Evince on Windows 7 Professional 32 bit: When I open a .dvi file created by TeX, Evince just quietly dies. No error messages.

I've installed the application and loaded a DVI file, but indeed it's not working. The software freezes and then there is nothing I could do unless I force close the application. This appears to be a bug int he application and I recommend you report it to the developers of the Evince application.
