I just reinstalled Sound Organizer after I got a new computer at work with Windows 10. I can no longer figure out how to set the F10 and F11 keys to be the shortcut for play/pause so I can quickly play/pause recordings while proofing dictation that has been typed up via Nuance/Dragon voice recognition. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks.

Sony Sound Organizer is an application compatible with the following versions of Windows, as specified on the official website: https://www.sony-europe.com/support/en/content/cnt-dwnl/prd-dna/sony-sound-organizer-ver15/ICD-TX50

  • Windows 8 / 8.1 (64-bit version supported) (Windows 8 / 8.1 Pro / Windows 8 / 8.1)
  • Windows 7(r) (Service Pack-1 or later) (64-bit version supported) (Ultimate / Professional / Home Premium / Home Basic / Starter)
  • Windows Vista(r) (Service Pack 2 or later) (64-bit version supported) (Ultimate / Business / Premium / Home Basic)

This could be the possible cause to the issues you're experiencing with the shortcut
keys. Right click the executable file and go to Properties > Compatibility then select one of those Windows versions. You have to tick the Run as Administrator as well.
