The developers of this application are not in the business anymore. I've checked their website and a generic search page was shown instead. This could be the cause to compatibility problems as well. If the developers are out of business, so is the software, therefore compatibility with operating systems (mostly newer) is questionable.
If you have the software, right click it and choose Properties > Compatibility. Select a previous version from the list and then tick the Run as Administrator.
