I've created an account on both Gramblr and Instagram and then logged on. I've added an image and avoid using any Aspect Ratio options. I've also cut the image and applied some effects including text and shapes and it uploaded successfully.
Try deleting and reinstalling the the application by downloading the latest version from the website.
