I am trying to install the latest update for SnapScan iX500. I downloaded the update and then get this message "AOUInstaller wants to make changes. Type your password to allow this". The four digit password that I wrote down when I installed the SnapScan doesn't work. I have no idea what the password is. Is there a place I can retrieve it from or change it?

This happens only for Mac operating systems. The password you need to enter is the one assigned to your account. In case you didn't set up any password to your account, then simply press Enter and that's it, the installer will continue with the installation procedure. This happens for majority of applications when they're installed on Mac OS.

Hello,
I tried to hit "Enter," but the installer did not accept that option. Please advise
