I need to scan a document from my Canon MG2200 printer/scanner to my computer that has Windows 10 on it, how do I do this?
In order to scan a document, the drivers and the software for the device have to be installed. If the printer is connected to PC, from the moment you press the SCAN button on its OSD, the application will start on PC automatically where you can configure various scan parameters, output file, DPI settings, etc.
If you don't have the drivers installed, go to Start and type Windows Update then scan the PC and apply all the available updates. Alternatively, browse to the support page to download a driver in case Windows Update fails to install one.
