Connecting Sony PC5E camera to laptop port.

The serial cable that came with my camera was mini jack to 9 pin female plug. Unfortunately, I can no longer use this to download pictures as my laptop only has USB ports. Is there a USB to mini jack lead I can use?

To connect the camera to PC you will need an i.Link cable model IEEE 1394 (FireWire/i.LINK). This cable can be purchased through the Amazon/AliExpress and other major online stores.

If you don't have a Firewire port available on your computer, then you can buy an external card that connects to USB ports or simply use the built-in Memory Card slot to transfer the content to PC using a card reader.
