Can I use FaseShop also for tracing a figure and then adjust it with a standard 3D figure model in the same way as adjusting a head or face?

The FaceShop application doesn't appear to be available anymore. However, there is another application called HeadShop which pretty much all the features that FaceShop had. I recommend visiting the official website to obtain additional information about it.
