You can't recover the WeChat history unless you have created some sort of a backup before. The WeChat folder is stored on the internal storage of your phone and even if it's an Android or an iOS, it's known that recovery is not possible. In case that you have a backup, place the WeChat folder as it is with its subfolders. Restart WeChat, and then you should be prompted to restore the database. This is the only way to restore the chat history for the WeChat application.
