Will restoring my computer using the Recovery (D) Drive give me a clean restore leaving no trace of malware left by hackers?
In 90% of the cases, yes, you will have a fresh installation of Windows operating system, but keep in mind that while you perform a recovery, the other data will be removed as well. I mean the data on the drive with the Windows operating system. After recovery, I recommend running AdwCleaner or Malwarebytes just to be sure.
