I have tested the application, and it works normally on Windows 8 x64. The installer didn't show any errors, and the installation finished completely. However, you will need to attach the USB device for which the software was developed for, and that will require some steps in case it hasn't been certified for Windows 8.

You need to disable the Driver Enforcement. To do this in Windows 8 or higher, do the following:

  • Windows 8: Windows key + C > Change PC Settings > Update and Recovery > Recovery > Restart > Advanced > Troubleshoot > Startup > Restart > Choose option 7.

  • Windows 10 : Windows button > Settings > Update and Recovery > Recovery > Restart > Advanced > Troubleshoot > Startup > Restart > Choose option 7.

Reboot, then install the driver and reboot again and the software will detect the USB attached device.
