I have a floppy external drive made by Chuanganzhuo. I have floppy disks recorded around the year 2000. I would like to be able to look at the information that are on these floppy disks. My current software is Microsoft Windows 8.1. It is not my desire to transfer the data to a USB drive etc. I want to "play" the floppy disks on my newly purchased external floppy drive. Is there reliable software available that will allow me to do this?

The only thing you have to do is to connect the external floppy drive device to PC. Most the motherboards don't have a floppy drive connector, which means that you need to connect the one you have to USB or it won't be possible to transfer the data. Make sure that the PC is connected to the Internet. This is needed to install the drivers. If everything goes well, you can plug your floppy in the drive and then access it through the Computer.
