This browser is based on Chromium like many other browsers released. However, the video playback problems are usually caused by Adobe Flash Player or due to video drivers. I recommend that you update both of them, and also update the version of the browser. If you still encounter issues with playback, go to Settings or press CTRL + Shift + Delete and clear everything from "the beginning of time".
