I don't understand why my VeriFace needs my password after scanning my face every time. Isn't the computer supposed to recognize my face and just log on?

Yes, the software is supposed to log you in without requesting the password. However, after you've logged in, go to the settings menu of the application and disable the need to ask for a password since the software recognizes your face. After this procedure, reboot the PC and try logging in again, and the password prompt should be gone. The software works the way you configured it and not the other way around.
