There is an online FAQ that you can use to attempt a possible recovery for your database. For the safety of the database, I recommend making a few copies of the corrupted file then use the guide on the following page to attempt a possible fix. You will have to use GFIX along with some handlers when working with the database. If full backup won't be possible, then at least some of it will be recoverable.
