VLC beta version. Plays almost any format and it is FREE.

Yes, as you can see on the official web page, VideoLAN released a version of VLC Media Player for Android devices. You can download and install it free of charge from Google Play Store or from the official download center. Even if the software is in beta stage, you will be able to play all major video and audio formats available.
