I cannot get Navionics Chart Installer to install and run on my Mac. All the help advise to reboot Safari which I have tried countless times. I have also tried downloading Google Chrome and making that my default browser - still no available. Chart Installer gets a certain way through the installation and then just does "nothing".

It's possible that the version you have lacks compatibility with the Mac OS version installed on your computer. I advise downloading a new version of the Chart Installer from the official website. Access the website and then click on the Downloads and Updates. The website will detect that you are on Mac and provide the downloads necessary for this procedure. Save the package and then attempt a new installation.

Same here, Chart installer has been a trauma since the beginning, I try to update as less a possible, most of the time It kills the card and I need to send it back to the marine shop, they fix it and the next try... broken again.

also on MacOS it is impossible to select the whole card so I have to select the area on a box, with is smaller than the cart.

Support takes weeks to respond ad is no real help, BIG BUMMER, I will buy C-MAP next time, do NOT buy Navatics if you use Apple Mac.

Absolute impossible to install on MacOS 10.15.5

I am also unable to run Navionics Chart Installer on my 2011 Macbook Pro OSX 10.13.6. The Mac software is up to date and the Chart Installer is the most current version as of 10/2020. The software is loaded but very time I attempt to open it I get a message that Chart Installer needs to make changes to the computer system, which I allow. I then reboot the computer, try again, and go through the exact same process. I have allowed Apple and approved developers access to the system (System Preferences, security). At one point I was getting a notice that the Mac is running a 60 bit system, not 32 bit, and contacted Chart Installer customer support with this information. The tech responded very quickly suggesting I "allow developers" in my System Preferences, which I have done, to no avail.
