If your data has been lost due to a virus infection, then you can use a recovery application. Download and install Recuva then use the built-in wizard to look for a specific file format, or use the general search. Additionally, you can use the option to specify the path where your files were stored. You can recover the files if you see a green marker. Yellow or red items are not recoverable.
