How to use Cut option in Pokemon Goble Revolution?

In Pokemon Goble Revolution 0.9.0, there is an option "Cut small trees to go further", but I don't know how to use it.

In most of the games the procedure requires a certain tool, usually a saw. You need to visit the local merchants from where you can buy this tool. Once the tool is available in your inventory, equip it to the correct slot and click on a tree then the procedure will start normally.
